As Finance Director, Assistant Controller EMEA, you'll be the technical and operational backbone of financial controllership across the region, reporting to the Senior Finance Director EMEA. You'll be driving material weakness remediation, hardening the SOX control environment, and holding the line on US GAAP compliance.

Job Responsibility

  • Be the region's authority on US GAAP
  • Lead end-to-end SOX compliance across EMEA legal entities
  • Drive active remediation of identified control deficiencies
  • Own balance sheet integrity across all EMEA entities
  • Deliver timely, accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
  • Lead Financial Controller review and oversight
  • Lead a team of ~20 across Inventory and OPEX
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and scalability initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally

Requirements

  • 12+ years in controllership, audit, or financial reporting in a multinational environment
  • Deep US GAAP expertise
  • IFRS and multi-country local GAAP fluency a strong plus
  • Proven ability to lead in fast-moving, high-growth environments
  • ERP fluency (Oracle preferred)
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification required
