Job Description:

The town of Harvard seeks qualified applicants for a 16 hour/week non-benefited position of Finance Department Receptionist. Reporting to the Finance Director, responsibilities include collecting, processing and mailing various receivables including, tax bills, assessment notices, and exemptions, acts as central receptionist for all Town Hall departments which involves answering phones and in person inquiries, and will be responsible for taking the meeting minutes for the Board of Health. A complete job description is available upon request. Ideal applicants will have an associate degree, preferred. One to three years of experience work involving business, or bookkeeping or two years prior experience in a municipal setting; or a combination of education and experience may be considered. Full hourly pay range: $19.35 – $26.13 with an expected hiring range between $19.35 and $23.48. Starting pay is based on qualifications and experience.
