Job Description:

Senior management level position responsible for all data transformation and regulatory projects across the team, working on programs that drive forward delivery across data acquisition and data consumption for enterprise strategies and technology roadmap. Accountable for ensuring transformation and regulatory projects get delivered on time, effectively communicating with executives, and guiding the team to solve complex finance data problems.

Job Responsibility:

Act as anchor point for all business and data solutions
Provide thought leadership in defining reconciliation and control for risk, liquidity, and P&L processes
Liaise with front office teams and systems to ensure data alignment
Drive priorities, program management, budgeting, risk & control, audits, vendor management
Manage execution of data operating model for Finance reports
Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals
Devise and execute comprehensive data strategy focusing on Data Quality dimensions
Manage Data Quality and Functional Requirements team
Interact with wide spectrum users to implement data operating model
Collaborate with stakeholders to take forward data strategies
Validate detailed requirements and manage execution
Ensure change is managed with appropriate controls and documentation
Research and resolve issues
Lead data governance engagements including lineage and DQ rules
Lead and deliver local staff forums

Requirements:

15+ years' experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Core data management experience
Data quality and governance experience
8-10+ years of managerial experience
8+ years of experience in Financial Services
Good knowledge of Financial and Liquidity reports
Understanding of Wholesale products including Global Markets, Commercial Banking and Services
5+ years with Business Analyst experience
5+ years defining use cases to articulate new functional software needs
2+ years' experience with SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence
5+ years' experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
Very strong written and oral executive communication skills
Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function
Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field
