Job Description:

Is your passion for denim and finance as high as ours? In our finance department there’s an opening for a Finance Coordinator. You will work closely with the team to resolve issues and to identify and correct root causes of errors, while collaborating with our other departments to support overall goals and objectives. As our new Finance Coordinator, your core responsibility will be to ensure supplier invoicing, PO matching and payment processes are completed in an accurate and efficient manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and processing
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up with customers (collections)
  • Perform cash application, payment matching and clearing
  • Investigate and resolve payment differences and disputes
  • Support AR-related month-, quarter- and year-end close activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in AR processes and reporting
  • Support internal and external supplier communication to resolve issues
  • Help ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate approvals for no-PO invoices are obtained
  • Check that transactions are posted to the correct accounts
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to support clean audits

Requirements:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable/collections
  • Happy to support Accounts Payable where needed
  • Excel proficiency
  • Experience with SAP is a big plus
  • Ability to learn quickly, work under deadlines, and multitask
  • Passion for fashion
  • Completed a financial administration course and/or prior experience in accounting
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to think economically
  • Used to working in a fast-paced international environment
  • Strong personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
