Randstad is partnering with a local organisation based in Geelong to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator. This rewarding temporary assignment spans 5 to 6 months, offering a flexible part-time schedule of 0.6 FTE.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct ongoing reviews of financial transactions
  • Manage invoice verification, bank reconciliations
  • Provide oversight for purchase orders and corporate credit cards
  • Partner with senior finance leadership to deliver accurate monthly financial reports and analysis
  • Contribute to planning and preparation of Annual Budget and year-end financial report processing
  • Coordinate data compilation and respond to audit requests
  • Assist with grant acquittals and funding administration reports
  • Ensure timely completion of annual insurance declarations and renewals
  • Collate and distribute six-monthly declarations for board members and key management
  • Oversee and support day-to-day management of administrative team
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping for fleet vehicles
  • Offer cross-coverage for payroll and finance queries during team absences

Requirements

  • Formal qualification in Finance or Accounting
  • CA or CPA status highly preferred
  • Essential proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven capability to transform complex raw data into meaningful, auditable financial reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must hold valid Australian work rights
  • Must undertake a National Police Check and Employee Victorian Working with Children Check
