We are now looking for a Finance Controlling Specialist to join our Close & Control Team, supporting the UK market. This is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial controlling while gaining international exposure in a global pharma leader. In this role, you will: Take ownership of financial controlling activities for a European commercial entity, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements. Support the period-end close process, including analytical reviews and preparation of reporting packs. Present and discuss monthly results with the local Finance Team, acting as a trusted business partner. Perform account analysis, review journals, and execute internal controls to maintain financial integrity. Work closely with colleagues across Finance, including Planning & Forecasting Analysts, Regional Controllers, and the GSK Operations Centre. Review high-risk reconciliations, assess balance sheet health, and proactively manage risks and open items. Contribute to audit activities and group consolidation, ensuring high-quality, timely deliverables. Why you? A degree in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent professional experience). 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial controlling. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting requirements. Confidence in working in a data-driven environment, with a continuous learning attitude. The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across geographies. Fluency in English at a professional business level. Working model: This role is hybrid. The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 118,500 to PLN 197,500 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer's discretion).
