This is a key leadership role within the business, offering the opportunity to partner closely with senior stakeholders and drive financial insight, control and process improvement. Reporting to senior leadership, you will lead a small established finance team and take full responsibility for the day-to-day and strategic running of the finance function.
Job Responsibility:
Ownership of weekly and monthly management accounts, providing clear and actionable insight
Leading all statutory reporting, year-end processes and audit liaison
Managing cashflow forecasting and ensuring strong financial controls are in place
Overseeing payroll, sales ledger and purchase ledger activities
Partnering with operational teams to improve financial understanding and performance
Driving process improvements, efficiencies and best practice across finance
Acting as the key point of contact for finance across the wider business
Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE)
Strong experience within an operationally focused environment
Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and at a detailed level
Proven experience managing and developing finance teams
Strong systems and Excel skills (Sage experience beneficial)
Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
