Job Description

The Finance Clerk supports the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department by ensuring the accurate processing and recording of financial transactions. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance procedures, and contributing to the smooth operation of the resort.

Job Responsibility

  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Verify and reconcile financial transactions and documentation
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records
  • Assist with daily revenue reporting and cash handling procedures
  • Prepare routine financial reports and support month-end closing activities
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors regarding finance-related queries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Perform other administrative duties assigned by the Finance leadership team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, accounting, or finance-related role preferred
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience using accounting systems or ERP software is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Excellent command of English and Spanish, both written and spoken
