Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design and enhancement of product capabilities related to Cost Allocation, Segmental Profitability, Customer Profitability, Product Profitability, Business Unit Performance Measurement, and Funds Transfer Pricing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements across finance, treasury, and business functions
  • Design and implement allocation methodologies including Direct Cost Allocation, Indirect Cost Allocation, Shared Service Cost Allocation
  • Support development of multi-dimensional profitability frameworks across segments, products, customers, geographies, and legal entities
  • Stay updated on the best industry practices, finance transformation trends, and banking management accounting requirements
  • Support finance data transformation initiatives involving source systems, finance data warehouses, and reporting platforms
  • Drive process standardization, governance, and control frameworks across global finance organizations
  • Analyze existing allocation methodologies, profitability frameworks, and reporting structures
  • Configure and customize solution components including cost pools, allocation drivers, profitability models, management reporting structures, FTP curves, and pricing methodologies
  • Validate allocation results and profitability outputs against business expectations
  • Support UAT, reconciliation, parallel run, and production deployment activities
  • Design and implement profitability frameworks across business segments, products, customers, branches, channels, and relationship managers

Requirements

  • MBA - Finance/Banking
  • PGDM - Finance/Banking
  • CA / CMA
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Cost Allocation, Profitability Management
  • Experience working within a bank's Finance, Cost Allocation, Profitability, or Finance Transformation team
  • Alternatively, experience implementing Cost Allocation, Profitability Management for banks and financial institutions
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation programs involving multiple geographies, business units, and legal entities is highly desirable
  • Experience with Tier-1 banks, G-SIBs, multinational banks, or large financial institutions will be preferred
  • BA / PM experience within a Finance Change function
  • Financial accounting and management-reporting knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of banking / financial systems (HUB, FTP)
  • Authoring of test plans / test scripts
