Job Description

The Business Process Excellence Lead drives transformation initiatives that align with business objectives, foster digital innovation, and support enterprise-wide adoption. This role is specifically focused on enhancing efficiency, scalability, and service quality within Finance and Global Business Services (GBS). The successful candidate will lead strategic change initiatives with a strong emphasis on process improvement in financial and enterprise support functions, ensuring Aptiv remains agile, competitive, and future-ready.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial and shared service processes using emerging technologies
  • Drive adoption of digital tools like RPA, AI, cloud platforms, and data analytics to improve service delivery
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within Finance and GBS
  • Establish frameworks, best practices, and standards to ensure process consistency and quality
  • Lead 2–3 cross-functional initiatives focused on Finance/GBS process efficiency and standardization
  • Monitor and optimize end-to-end support processes to meet strategic business goals
  • Plan, execute, and oversee Finance/GBS improvement initiatives within scope, time, and budget
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring successful change implementation across departments
  • Equip teams with tools and coaching to support adoption of new practices
  • Mitigate risks and ensure stakeholder buy-in throughout the lifecycle of transformation efforts
  • Create and execute communication plans to align stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure clarity and adoption
  • Maintain open communication with operations teams to address practical challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance or Shared Services process improvement
  • Strong track record in Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Ability to lead and implement cross-departmental change in a complex organization

Nice to have

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
  • Previous experience working within a Finance transformation or Shared Services environment
