Finance Business Partner

• Delivery of outstanding business partnership, trusted counsel, strategic and tactical financial advice to Business Unit
• Delivery of high-quality financial reporting with a strong focus on balance sheet and cash flow management, providing analysis and insight to support decision making
• Ability to work with and influence operational leaders in the Business Unit to adopt sound financial practices and decisions
• Ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement across Business Unit operations
• Preparation, analysis and reporting of Business Unit financial results and forecasts
• Develop and prepare insightful financial information and appropriate tools to drive improvements in profitability, cashflow performance and future growth
• Support the preparation and presentation of the annual budget
• Manage the allocation of local overheads including reporting of overheads to local management teams
• Management of debtors including weekly reporting and following up outstanding debtors
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including corrections where required
• Provide strong financial leadership, advice and support to Business Unit and Sector leads
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive a culture of continual improvement
• Ensure compliance with Service Stream policies and procedures

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Accounting
• CA/CPA
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance position
• Experience working with operations and field-based teams within a construction, maintenance or similar environment
• An analytical mind and a solid understanding of common industry practices and ‘best fit’ strategies with regards to financial reporting and controls

Experience working within a company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) is desirable
