Job Description

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in the financial planning and investment decisions in rapidly growing technology areas such as cloud hosting, AI software & tooling, and data analytics. You will also provide strategic financial planning leadership and ensure an appropriate financial control environment exists.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with senior management in translating strategic plans into operational plans in alignment with targets, including investment prioritization activity
  • Spearhead the financial quantification of investments intended to expand and improve service offerings, thereby supporting growth and profitability
  • Monitor the financial performance of investments and operational plans, and provide insights on any variance in costs or benefits
  • Take ownership to ensure that reported financials and financial projections are accurate, and risks and opportunities are well understood
  • Coordinate with other finance teams across the organization to ensure alignment
  • Efficiently utilize shared financial service resources to meet stakeholder expectations and ensure no surprises
  • Ensure financial risk factors have been considered across all locations and necessary controls are in place
  • Clearly articulate findings and outcomes through high-quality communications and facilitate executive decisions
  • Provide senior management with a broader view on functional, non-financial topics
  • Continually strive to deliver exceptional performance and adapt priorities as the needs of the organization change

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Mastery of key accounting functions required in order to deliver accurate financial reports and statements
  • Proven track record of developing and executing annual budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Demonstrable experience in managing budget processes, working closely with different departments to ensure financial stability
  • Proficiency in Tableau, with the ability to create dynamic, interactive dashboards and reports is preferred
  • Strong skills in Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, and data visualization is preferred
