Job Responsibility

  • Provide financial leadership and management support across designated schools across the West Midlands area and support the Trust's Central Finance Team
  • Lead the on financial operations, processes, reporting and planning in your designated areas

Requirements

  • A part accountancy qualification, CCAB or an equivalent qualification. With evidence of working towards full professional accountancy qualification in Finance, either CCAB or an equivalent level professional Accountancy qualification
  • A sound understanding of the budgeting & financial management processes, preferably in an educational establishment
  • A sound understanding of how purchase to pay process and procurement policies, can provide value for money, efficiency and control
  • Experience of system & process development within a finance team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of developing constructive relationships with non-financial stakeholders
