We’re looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to support our Cornwall & Devon and South Coast regions, working closely with Regional Directors and Park General Managers to provide forward-looking insight, challenge and strategic financial support. Working with the Head of Parks Finance and the wider Finance team, you’ll act as a trusted commercial partner to Regional Directors and Park General Managers. You’ll provide insightful financial analysis, support decision-making, and help drive the business strategy to ensure parks deliver against their EBITDA and performance targets. This is a highly visible role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, a commercial mindset and the ability to translate financial data into meaningful actions.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with Regional Directors and General Managers to review commercial performance and drive EBITDA delivery
Act as a critical friend, providing objective challenge and escalation against commercial assumptions where needed
Support business planning through robust financial analysis and modelling
Identify, measure and monitor key performance indicators, advising on actions to improve future results
Proactively support strategic decision-making at all levels through insight, data and commercial thinking
Own and lead the regional forecasting process, ensuring buy-in from Parks GMs and Regional Directors
Produce and present a monthly business performance pack, translating financial results into clear and compelling commercial narratives tailored to the audience
Deliver accurate and timely financial information, including variance analysis and recommendations for next steps
Work with non-finance managers to drive effective budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide hands-on financial and business support to Regional Directors and parks, including training Head of Departments on understanding financial performance
Support the development of early warning indicators beyond standard variance analysis
Lead or contribute to cost efficiency and performance improvement programmes where required
Attend parks regularly to provide in-person support, onboarding and financial training
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with several years' post-qualification experience
Ideally experienced within leisure, hospitality or multi-site operations
Strong background in finance business partnering at senior management and director level
Exceptional financial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Must be Devon/Dorset based and able to travel regularly across the region
