Job Description:

The Finance Business Partner is crucial in connecting the finance department with business operations. This is a pivotal role leading a team of 3 and interacting closely with all parts of the business. Key responsibilities include producing board-level reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, driving business outcomes through financial insights, and ensuring financial information accuracy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a growing team of 3
  • Produce full, accurate, insightful, and timely board reporting for sign-off
  • Consistent and timely reporting to Joint Ventures
  • Calculate deferred calculations for ex-owners with projections
  • Use financial insights to drive business outcomes
  • Ensure control and clear process for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Manage effective communication with Business Support Managers, including leading monthly performance meetings
  • Support budgeting and reforecasting processes, bridging Finance and Operations
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading a high-functioning team
  • Ability to motivate and develop junior team members
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Strong self-organisation and prioritisation skills
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
