Job Responsibility:
Primary finance contact for Branch and District Managers
Address finance-related inquiries and provide succinct, actionable analyses in a timely manner
Compile and execute month-end journal entry requests which predominantly consist of inter- and intra-Branch income statement reclasses
Lead the monthly, multi-scenario, market-level forecasting process for the designated business unit
Conduct monthly, market-level financial reviews with an emphasis on discussing prior month results as well as the latest forecast with the goal identifying strengths and improvement opportunities
Support the annual bottom-up budget process
Establish and periodically audit quarterly and annual field incentive compensation calculations
Execute various ad hoc requests, which includes but is not limited to: New location (Greenfield) budgets
Rental fleet mix impact analyses
New facility impact analyses
Leasehold impact analyses
Requirements:
Required years of related prior work experience: 0 – 3 years
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance, or transferrable work experience
Proven understanding and aptitude for basic financial statement concepts and analysis
Desire for continuous learning opportunities and developing cross-functional skills
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, analytical, and communication experience
Detail oriented, proactive problem solver with excellent investigative abilities
Experienced and comfortable with teaching/presenting financial concepts
Relevant internship or prior work experience beneficial
Willing and able to travel periodically (once a quarter)
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job
