Job Responsibility:

  • Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning Analysis
  • working closely with the wider finance team
  • acts as a trusted Finance Business Partner to both Charity and Trading teams
  • providing high-quality financial insight, analysis and challenge that supports strategic decision‑making, effective financial planning and sustainable delivery of the organisation’s mission
  • support budgeting, forecasting and performance management
  • ensuring financial risks and opportunities are clearly understood, communicated and managed across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA)
  • Experience in providing financial analysis and insight, delivered in a clear and engaging way
  • Experience in preparing budgets, forecasts and developing financial models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, deputising for the Head of FP&A when required
  • Ability to prioritise own work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong IT skills including excel
  • Knowledge of retail and charity accounting is advantageous
  • Demonstrable evidence of behaviour in line with the core values of TAAS throughout career to date
  • Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives
  • Passion for the work that TAAS does
  • A flexible approach to allow adaptability to the changing needs of the organisation.
