Job Description:

An ambitious Finance Business Partner is sought to support Product & Technology and Corporate cost functions within a fast growing PE-backed organisation. This is a high-impact role leading cost control and CAPEX planning across the business. You will partner closely with budget holders and senior leadership, providing clear financial insight, robust ROI analysis, and constructive challenge to support strategic investment and disciplined cost management.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with functional leads to manage operating costs, delivering monthly reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insight
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting for cost centres in collaboration with FP&A
  • Own CAPEX planning and tracking, including investment appraisal and governance compliance
  • Build and review business cases, ensuring clear ROI and value delivery
  • Support month-end processes, including accruals and capitalisation
  • Provide financial input for Executive and Board reporting
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and stronger financial controls

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5+ years’ experience in commercial finance or business partnering
  • Strong understanding of cost control, CAPEX management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proven experience in financial modelling and investment appraisal
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
