Job Responsibility
Development and implementation of business unit financial strategies, plans and budgets, using insights to evaluate the financial implications of strategic initiatives and recommend appropriate actions
Development of financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate financial risks for business units, and to analyse the impact of business decisions on financial performance and provision of recommendations
Cross functional collaboration to provide financial insights and guidance to business unit stakeholders
Identification of opportunities and implementation of financial process improvements that streamline financial operations
Support to business units in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, including provision of training and guidance to business units on financial risk management and compliance practices
Analysis and presentation of financial data to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making
Requirements
Model Transformation & Standardisation – Experience in model documentation, gap analysis, identifying limitations, and delivering improved / standardised models aligned to target state frameworks
Automation & Efficiency Focus – Ability to streamline and automate manual processes within planning and modelling workflows
Controls & Governance Awareness – Strong appreciation of model controls, assumptions governance, auditability and risk standards
Data & Tools Proficiency – Advanced Excel skills with familiarity in data querying/analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, visualisation tools)
Adaptability & Learning Agility – Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive approach to continuous improvement

Strong FP&A and Banking Product Knowledge – Proven experience in planning and forecasting across banking products (balances, margins, impairments), with a clear understanding of business drivers and financial linkages
Advanced Modelling & Analytical Capability – Ability to build, enhance and interpret financial models, with strong skills in structured modelling, scenario analysis and driver-based forecasting
