Job Description

The Finance & Business Planning (FBP) team is the strategic engine behind Meta's bold investments. We manage the company's entire budget and drive data-informed decisions that shape the future of Meta and our family of products. At the forefront of this mission is our Infrastructure FBP team — our investments in infrastructure are foundational to enabling the next generation of artificial intelligence technologies, including super intelligence, set to transform how billions of people experience our products and services. We're looking for a Strategic Cloud Deals Manager to join our Infrastructure FBP team, focused on strategic financial and commercial efforts related to large-scale infrastructure investments. In this high-impact role, you'll build complex financial and commercial models, develop structuring analyses, and deliver decision support for high-stakes, multi-billion-dollar transactions — with a particular focus on Cloud capacity while also covering component agreements and leasing. You will work closely with relevant teams in the Infrastructure Data Center group (IDC), as well as with other Finance, Legal, Policy, and Tax teams to secure cost-competitive and strategic resources for Meta's continued global growth and AI product rollouts.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial and commercial models to analyze, structure, and review deal terms for Meta's largest infrastructure transactions, including major Cloud capacity procurements, lease agreements, and multi-year component agreements
  • Partner closely with deal leads and Infrastructure teams during negotiations to ensure the company achieves competitive pricing, sound risk allocation, and long-term economic value
  • Drive analysis and preparation of commercial and financial deal terms in collaboration with Infra leads and external partners
  • Build and maintain programmatic financial benchmarks for assessing CapEx and OpEx across Cloud, site, and server transactions
  • Develop a plan to incorporate AI into financial models, benchmarking tools, and day-to-day deal workflows
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Legal, and Tax teams to identify and mitigate financial, tax, and legal risks through thoughtful structures and guardrails
  • Prepare high-quality memos and materials to support the internal financial approval process, engaging key internal and external stakeholders
  • Translate complex commercial, market, and contractual developments in the Cloud and major component supply industries into clear, actionable insights for Finance leadership
  • Serve as a thought partner to business leaders — contributing your perspective on the right set of actions to drive strategic infrastructure deals forward

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in strategic finance, commercial roles, investment banking, or strategy consulting, with a focus on structuring and analyzing large-scale, complex deals (e.g., technology, infrastructure, energy, or utilities)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience building and working with detailed financial models, identifying key risks and sensitivities, and supporting financial due diligence for high-stakes transactions
  • Experience contributing to the negotiation of complex commercial and financial terms with external counterparties
  • Demonstrated foundation in spreadsheet-based financial modeling and experience in translating open-ended business questions into structured, analytical models
  • Experience driving processes and influencing decision-making across levels and functions (i.e., Finance, Legal, Policy, and Infrastructure)
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of success in time sensitive, hands-on work environments and developing complex solutions across multiple stakeholders
  • Effective collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator of commercial, market, and contractual details to all organizational levels

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • MBA, JD, or other relevant advanced degree
  • Experience in the Cloud or data center industry with direct involvement in deal analysis and negotiation support
  • Experience in data center, infrastructure, or project finance at an investment bank or financial sponsor
