Job Description:

The Finance Business Manager is crucial in connecting the finance department with business operations. You will lead the production of board reports, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and communicate business unit performance. Your insights will drive outcomes and ensure accurate financial information.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a growing team of 3
  • Produce full, accurate, insightful, and timely board reporting for sign-off
  • Consistent and timely reporting to Joint Ventures
  • Calculate deferred calculations for ex-owners with projections
  • Use financial insights to drive business outcomes
  • Ensure control and clear process for monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Manage effective communication with Business Support Managers, including leading monthly performance meetings
  • Support budgeting and reforecasting processes, bridging Finance and Operations
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in leading a high-functioning team

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Strong self-organisation and prioritisation skills
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Excel
