Job Description:

You will serve as the strategic finance partner for our Engineering, Product & Design teams, architecting our commercial relationships with major AI model providers and optimizing cloud economics to drive efficient technical scaling.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive Hyperscaler 360 Strategy: Orchestrate strategy for relationships with model providers
  • Architect High-Value Partnerships: Lead commercial negotiations with LLM providers and technical partners
  • Run Financial Operations for EPD: Implement rigorous FinOps practices
  • Drive EPD Planning & Investment: Own headcount planning, budgeting, and investment tradeoffs for the EPD org
  • Build an AI-Native Function: Integrate AI agents and automation into the finance workflow

Requirements:

  • Hyperscaler Strategist & Deal Architect: Understand usage-based pricing and token economics
  • Seasoned negotiator who can structure deals balancing unit economics, committed spend, and flexibility
  • Technical & Analytical Authority: Excel expert modeling chops
  • Data skills (SQL, Hex, BI tools)
  • Technical literacy to gain credibility with Engineering leaders
  • Ability to translate technical concepts/decisions into financial impact
  • Service-First Partner: Proactive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable owning operationally tedious work to ensure clean handoffs between technical teams, finance, and procurement
  • Finance & BizOps Veteran: 8+ years of relevant experience
  • 4+ years in strategic finance and BizOps supporting R&D/EPD at a SaaS company
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)
