Job Description

On behalf of our client, a leading, internationally active, technology-driven Swiss company located in the Bern area (Flamatt), we are seeking an experienced and pragmatic professional to secure ongoing financial operations, starting on August 10, 2026. Due to an upcoming departure and the strategic realignment of the role as of 2027, we are looking for an experienced expert strictly for bridging the gap and maintaining the existing system landscape.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensuring the ongoing operation and stability of the existing data model based on SAP, Power Query, and Power BI
  • Providing technical support to finance stakeholders during recurring reporting cycles, rolling forecasts, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process
  • Resolving refresh errors, bugs in M code or DAX formulas, and performing data quality checks
  • Adapting and linking existing Excel and SharePoint input templates with the Power BI model
  • Clean logging of system adjustments in preparation for the subsequent knowledge transfer

Requirements

  • Flawless command of the MS BI suite (esp. Power Query, M code, Power BI, DAX) as well as Excel and SharePoint data sources
  • SAP knowledge is mandatory
  • Solid understanding of controlling, planning, and financial closing processes
  • Highly confident in dealing with finance professionals at the Group level
  • Fluent English is a must-have
