A leading global investment organization is looking to add an entry level Finance Associate to its Partner Investments group. This role works closely with senior partners and supports financial reporting, treasury activity, and investment operations across a broad portfolio of alternative investments. The position provides meaningful exposure to private markets and frequent interaction with internal finance, tax, legal, compliance, and investment teams.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and analyze quarterly fair value reports, liquid fund summaries, hedge fund performance materials, and other investment-related reporting
Manage the team’s shared inbox and act as a key liaison with external fund managers and administrators
Support treasury activities, including weekly investment wires, IRA-related cash movements, and liquidity transactions
Assist with onboarding new investments by tracking commitments, preparing subscription materials, and setting up investments within internal systems
Reconcile monthly capital activity and coordinate with accounting teams to ensure data accuracy
Provide guidance and day-to-day support to junior team members as needed
Partner cross-functionally with internal groups including finance, tax, legal, HR, compliance, and IT
Contribute to process enhancements, reporting improvements, and special projects
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within financial services
Foundational understanding of investments and alternative asset classes
Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving capabilities
Clear, professional communication skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders
Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
Genuine interest in the operational and financial aspects of alternative investments
