Job Description:

The Finance Associate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions. The role involves organizing files, analyzing financial information, and completing period-end closing procedures. The associate will also handle cash variances, prepare deposits, and administer cashier banks. The position requires adherence to company policies and maintaining professional standards.

Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash
Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances
Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
