Job Description

The Finance Associate role at NTT DATA is an entry-level position focused on financial reporting and analysis. The candidate will assist in gathering and analyzing financial data, helping to monitor expenditures and prepare financial reports. This role offers a chance to develop skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management while working under experienced team members. The Associate Financial Analyst is an entry level role within the Financial Reporting and Analysis job family, responsible for assisting with the gathering and analysis of financial data to facilitate decision-making. This role works towards gaining practical experience in finance, specifically analyzing past company performance against set metrics and cost management. This role works under the supervision of more experienced members of the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Working under guidance, extracts data from financial reports to conduct financial and statistical analysis and learns to identify financial discrepancies and recommends appropriate solutions
  • Helps with the monitoring and controlling of expenditure and develops skills in approving or denying requisitions based on whether the items are within budget
  • Helps prepare assigned financial reports based on the analysis results
  • Participates in presentations related to findings and provides recommendations to the relevant internal stakeholders
  • Develops skills to reconcile and review monthly account analysis for balance sheet accounts
  • Provides assistance with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Develops skills to perform analysis on areas of risk or opportunity within the business and that the financial levers are understood and communicated to the business together with clear recommendations
  • Assists with the review of business initiatives to ensure that they meet the required profitability expectations
  • Assists with identifying cost management opportunities (processes or expenses) for ensuring improved profitability and sustainable returns for the business
  • Performs any other relevant task as assigned by the management team

  • Basic experience within finance in a company with international operations
