Job Description:

Finance Associate with strong tax expertise and fund operations experience for a leading early-stage investment firm specializing in frontier technologies including crypto, AI, and deep tech. High-impact role offering direct exposure to senior leadership, strategic initiatives, and exciting sectors shaping the future.

Job Responsibility:

Lead tax compliance for funds, general partners, and management entities
Review tax filings including K-1s, foreign disclosures, and estimated payments
Coordinate with external tax advisors and manage payment schedules
Conduct independent tax research and validate advisor recommendations
Respond to investor tax inquiries and lead ad-hoc research initiatives
Review fund administrator reports and prepare quarterly NAV summaries
Support annual financial statement preparation and audit coordination
Track fund performance and investment valuations
Assist with capital calls, distributions, and accounts payable
Address investor inquiries and contribute to strategic finance projects

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
CPA or equivalent professional credential required
Minimum of 6 years of tax experience in asset management, with at least 4 years in venture capital or private equity
Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems
Excellent communication skills and sound professional judgment
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Experience in tax advisory or consulting is highly preferred
Genuine interest in emerging technologies such as crypto, AI, or tech innovation
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working collaboratively
