Finance Associate

• Review quarterly reports from fund administrators for both open- and closed-ended funds
• Reconcile digital asset transactions with blockchain records
• Distribute capital statements and manage fund administrator relationships
• Review annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors
• Manage audit documentation including confirmations, valuation memos, and transaction support
• Support capital calls, distributions, redemptions, and investment funding
• Track fund finances and valuations using proprietary systems
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Respond to investor inquiries and assist with SPV finance processes
• Support fund tax compliance including K-1 and tax return reviews
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and strategic projects

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in asset management auditing or accounting
• At least 2 years in venture capital or private equity
• CPA preferred
• Candidates must have passed FAR and REG sections
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Based in San Francisco or New York
