This person will lead the finance support for the People function at Meta, working closely with People leadership. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create business partnerships with leadership within the People Organization (People Operations, Human Resources, Total Rewards & Benefits)
  • Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
  • Provide hands-on analytic support and develop actionable insights and reporting that will influence key decision makers to allocate resources more effectively
  • Develop an understanding of cost drivers for both OpEx and Headcount
  • Help define and implement scalable financial processes
  • Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management

Requirements:

  • 4+ years work experience in finance, accounting or business analytics field
  • BA/BS in business, finance, accounting, management or related field
  • Experience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysis
  • Proven track record in evaluating business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and proposing and implementing solutions
  • Experience in building cross-functional relationships and partnering with leadership across organizations
  • Proven analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations
  • Experience with multi-tasking and shifting priorities quickly under pressure and competing deadlines

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting People or Human Resources organizations would be beneficial
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle EPM
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience with Oracle Essbase and SmartView Excel Plug-in

  • Partner with leaders across: FLOPS (Finance, Legal, Operations, People and Supply Chain) and other key functions to address key business challenges – with a primary focus on People systems and technologies, data pipelines and infrastructure, and large-scale Security and IT initiatives
  • Implement best-practice solutions, including process changes, configurations, and/or custom enhancements, to drive scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Work with FLOPS engineers and stakeholders to design, build and implement engineering solutions as it pertains to FLOPS deliverables
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements to identify functional scope. Able to identify unspoken/ conflicting requirements and drive meaningful change even going against the grain (as needed).
