A leading global investment firm is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Partner Investments team. This role supports senior partners by providing financial reporting, treasury support, and investment operations across a diversified portfolio of alternative investments. The position offers hands-on exposure to private markets and frequent collaboration across internal finance, tax, legal, compliance, and investment teams.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and review quarterly fair market value statements, liquid fund summaries, hedge fund performance reports, and other ad hoc investment reporting
Manage the team inbox and serve as a primary point of contact for external investment fund managers and administrators
Support treasury operations, including weekly investment wires, IRA-related cash activity, and other liquidity transactions
Assist with new investment onboarding, including tracking investor commitments, preparing subscription documentation, and setting up investments across internal systems
Reconcile monthly capital activity and partner with accounting teams to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with and help oversee junior team members to support day-to-day workflows
Work cross-functionally with internal teams including finance, tax, legal, HR, compliance, and IT
Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects as needed
Requirements:
0–2 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within financial services
Basic understanding of investments and alternative asset classes
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving ability
Effective communication skills and comfort interacting with senior stakeholders
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Strong interest in the financial and operational aspects of alternative investments
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
