Job Description:

A leading global investment firm is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Partner Investments team. This role supports senior partners by providing financial reporting, treasury support, and investment operations across a diversified portfolio of alternative investments. The position offers hands-on exposure to private markets and frequent collaboration across internal finance, tax, legal, compliance, and investment teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review quarterly fair market value statements, liquid fund summaries, hedge fund performance reports, and other ad hoc investment reporting
  • Manage the team inbox and serve as a primary point of contact for external investment fund managers and administrators
  • Support treasury operations, including weekly investment wires, IRA-related cash activity, and other liquidity transactions
  • Assist with new investment onboarding, including tracking investor commitments, preparing subscription documentation, and setting up investments across internal systems
  • Reconcile monthly capital activity and partner with accounting teams to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with and help oversee junior team members to support day-to-day workflows
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams including finance, tax, legal, HR, compliance, and IT
  • Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within financial services
  • Basic understanding of investments and alternative asset classes
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong judgment, initiative, and problem-solving ability
  • Effective communication skills and comfort interacting with senior stakeholders
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong interest in the financial and operational aspects of alternative investments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required
