KENTS HILL PARK TRAINING & CONFERENCE CENTRE – FINANCE ASSISTANT (MATERNITY COVER) Part-Time Position – 25 Hours Per Week (Worked Across 5 Days). Kents Hill Park is a dedicated training and conference centre set in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Milton Keynes, while remaining within easy access of key road, rail, and airport networks. Ideally suited to training courses and conferences, our quiet suburban setting provides delegates with an environment conducive to learning. With over 70 meeting rooms and 300 bedrooms, plus a restaurant serving more than 200 guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we also offer a fantastic onsite leisure club operated by Nuffield Health. Kents Hill Park offers a flexible and adaptable approach to clients’ business needs and can accommodate up to 600 delegates, making it one of the largest dedicated training and conference centres in the UK. Kents Hill Park is part of The Venues Collection, a division of Compass Group UK & Ireland, comprising eight easily accessible event spaces.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate with departmental Heads of Department to ensure new standards and control procedures are met in line with Profit Protection audits
Control and issue Purchase Orders and maintain records in accordance with Company Policy
Support the Financial Controller with management of team member timesheets
Accurately record daily sales and balance banking receipts
Record weekly stocktake counts and process into SAP
Monitor the departmental inbox and respond to supplier emails appropriately
Process approved supplier invoices
Support the FC/AFC in the accurate reporting of monthly management accounts
Comply with any reasonable request from the Management team
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and consistently high standards of work
Ability to problem solve and identify discrepancies
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Good proficiency in Excel
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
