Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous Finance Assistant to support our Accounting & Finance department within the Technology & Telecoms industry. This role is based in Runcorn and involves managing financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation's financial processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial records
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data in accounting systems
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to address financial queries
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
