Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous Finance Assistant to join a dedicated team in the Retail industry. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to support the accounting and finance department effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • High volume invoice processing
  • Ownership of both the purchase and sales ledger
  • Support the reconciliation of bank statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance department as needed
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the smooth running of financial operations
  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters

Requirements:

  • A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced Retail environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
