Job Description:

This role sits within the Global Partnerships Finance team and plays an important part in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial data across licensing and commercial activity. As Finance Assistant (Global Partnerships), you will provide hands-on financial administration support, ensuring system data is verified, invoices and purchase orders are raised correctly, and financial processes are followed consistently.

Job Responsibility:

Reviewing and verifying financial data inputted by Sales Co-ordinators, ensuring accuracy within the PARIS system
Reviewing contracts and amendments (including reversions) to ensure correct financial treatment
Reviewing and releasing profit overrides in line with agreed terms
Raising and reviewing purchase orders for the business
Raising invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Supporting testing of new finance systems and process improvements
Driving standardisation and efficiencies in financial processing across Global Partnerships
Providing ad hoc financial administration support to the wider finance team as required

Requirements:

Significant experience supporting a finance team in a complex organisation
Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong numerical skills with an understanding of sub-ledger double entry accounting
An ability to perform investigations in order to resolve issues
Experience using a major ERP system (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
