Job Description:

We are currently hiring for an award-winning business! Working in a well-established finance small team, you will become an integral part of the day to day running of the finance team. Our client, an industry leader in the Tech sector, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join their team. As part of their dynamic Finance Department, you will play a key role in providing prompt and accurate financial data to support their operations.

Job Responsibility:

Process Sales Ledger, raising and sending invoices promptly
Handle Purchase Ledger processing
Perform Cash and Bank Reconciliations
Maintain Sales and Purchase Ledgers
Prepare monthly journals and control account reconciliations
Assist with month-end reporting and credit card transactions
Manage staff expense payments and handle accounts queries
Implement necessary controls and processes
Carry out general office admin tasks

Requirements:

AAT level 3 with a desire to continue your study
Experience using Sage 50 or financial software
High attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially excel spreadsheets
Strong background in a busy Finance Team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
