Job Description:

Finance Assistant role for an ambitious finance professional looking to take the next step in their career. Opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple finance functions while working towards AAT, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.

Job Responsibility:

Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking transactions
Posting journals and supporting month-end closing activities
Assisting with payroll reviews and working alongside outsourced partners
Reconciling credit cards, balance sheets, and P&L accounts
Supporting VAT filings and other finance compliance activities
Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and cost centre analysis
Supporting external audits and wider finance projects as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in a finance role, ideally covering transactional duties and reconciliations
Strong Excel and IT skills
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach
Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and capable of working independently or in a team
Good verbal and written communication skills
Currently studying or interested in studying AAT, CIMA, or ACCA
