To help us achieve our ongoing global ambitions, we require an organised, collaborative, and energetic Finance Assistant to join our growing APAC Finance Team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accounts payable duties including entering supplier invoices into the system, preparation of payment runs, supplier queries and ensuring all regulatory requirements have been met
  • Accounts receivable duties including preparation of progress billings, data entry and cash receipting
  • Debt collection
  • End of month duties including maintenance of the asset register, depreciation, prepayments, accruals, ad hoc journal and general ledger reporting
  • Liaise with our payroll company and approve the payroll
  • Liaise with our tax agent and assist with GST returns
  • Assistance with preparing documentation for financial and tax audits
  • Assist Project Managers with the maintenance of projects in our system, including claiming revenue and closing projects
  • Liaise with the relevant local authorities on any matters that arise
  • Administrative assistance including new starter inductions and travel bookings

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience of accounts related duties within a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Familiar with providing a range of administrative support to a high standard, and on a pro-active basis
  • Possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Comfortable with the technical understanding and attention to detail it takes to work effectively as part of a Finance Team
  • Highly organised
