As a Finance Assistant, you’ll support the Finance Business Partnering team in helping on-site leaders understand and improve financial performance. You’ll play a key role in forecasting, reporting, unit margin control, and ensuring strong financial governance across the operation.
Job Responsibility:
Support weekly and monthly forecasting and business modelling
Assist with P&L reporting, client analysis, and performance reviews
Complete SPH data and benchmarking across venues
Support client billing and analysis of 'other income' sales
Maintain accurate data to support forecasting and decision-making
Process invoices, match to POs and GRNs, and maintain vendor records
Set up new suppliers in line with company procedures
Ensure compliance with Levy financial controls and audit requirements
Support month-end close and audit activity
Support accurate stocktakes and inter-departmental transfers
Consolidate EPOS data, including staff feeding and contract costs
Help train unit teams to improve financial awareness and cost control
Investigate variances and support preventative action plans
Provide financial support for events as required
Profile event profitability and clearly document financial outcomes
Requirements:
Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
Clear and confident communicator
Proactive, organised, and comfortable working at pace
Able to analyse data and translate it into meaningful insight
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
Previous operational or finance experience preferred
Flexible to support events when required
