Job Description:

As Finance Assistant, you will assist the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures, timely processing of financial transactions, and maintaining detailed records to support reporting and audits.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the daily tasks of Accounts Payable, Night Audit, and Income Audit are being carried out timely, accurately and to required standards
  • Support the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance
  • Accurate data entry and archiving
  • Maintain accurate financial and customer records
  • Assist in month-end closing processes
  • Administrative duties as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Ensure compliance with all local legislation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel
  • Must demonstrate a proven track record of experience across the field
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
