Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Finance and Membership Administrator to manage and maintain all aspects of financial accounts and other financial records relating to the Synagogue. The post-holder will also be required to provide proactive, efficient and professional administrative support to the Administrator and Lay Leaders and support in managing the affairs of the Synagogue whilst delivering a high level of customer service to the communities.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Strong professional financial and administrative experience
  • Effective customer care skills
  • Strong IT skills, including databases and the use of the Microsoft Office platform
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-driven
  • Capable of working unsupervised, managing own workload, and delivering results under pressure within tight deadlines

Nice to have:

A good knowledge of Jewish customs
