In the frame of the growth of our business, we are looking for a: Finance and Customer Service Manager Germany & Austria

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and company policies
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax filings, and audits, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements
  • Strengthen financial controls and risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies
  • Ensure effective treasury and cash flow management, including banking relationships and cash forecasting
  • Manages local payroll
  • Lead the subsidiary’s financial planning processes (annual budgeting and forecasting), ensuring alignment with regional and corporate objectives
  • Deliver accurate forecasts and actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making
  • Act as a key financial advisor to local senior management, providing in-depth analysis on cost optimization, investment strategies, and pricing models to enhance profitability and operational efficiency
  • Continuously track key financial metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Present findings with strategic recommendations to leadership team, proactively influencing business outcomes
  • Conduct variance analysis to assess financial performance against plans, providing strategic guidance on corrective actions and performance enhancement
  • Act as a strategic finance advisor to country leadership and operational teams
  • Translate business strategy into effective Finance Management plans, build an effective team and instruct and direct them towards achievement of set objectives
  • Support commercial decision-making by providing financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Partner with the local leadership team on financial matters, providing insights and recommendations to identify and execute strategic growth initiatives and operational efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities and drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Act as a liaison and build potential relationships with all stakeholders within and outside the organization
  • Understand customer and key stakeholder interests and concerns and guide and provide solutions to customers and key stakeholders
  • Supervise and provide leadership to the local accounting and customer service team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and local statutory requirements by implementing and ensuring execution of policies and procedures to facilitate positive customer service experience
  • Provide guidance and professional development
  • Monitor and improve accounting processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred
  • +7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluency in German & English

  • Conduct regular market visits and strategic meetings to identify opportunities and strengthen partnerships to help drive CWF’s business in the DACH region
  • Help develop seasonal budgets and business plans for the DACH region and ensure consistent delivery through effective planning and negotiation
  • Oversee and lead the sales campaigns for the DACH region
  • Analyse sales data and market trends and share with relevant teams to optimise seasonal budgeting, range planning and sales
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand the CWF’s and licensed partners’ footprint across DACH
  • Evaluate and onboard new partners that align with CWF’s and licensed partners’ commercial strategy
  • Work closely with brand management, customer service, logistics, finance and marketing teams to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide market feedback to Brand Management to inform product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Lead and support the Northern Hub sales team members and agents in the DACH region
