Job Description

We are looking for self-driven curious and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Analytical Intern who is eager to learn both manual and financial processes to explore how digital tools can help transform them. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial analysis, data processing, reporting, and automation initiatives. You will work closely with the Finance team to translate financial data into insights that support business decisions and operational improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Learn and understand existing manual Finance processes end-to-end
  • Analyze transaction-level data and financial information to identify trends, accuracy issues, or improvement opportunities
  • Support workflow automation and digitization initiatives, including creating or enhancing reports using Excel, Power BI, or other digital tools
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities for digitization or workflow optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve queries
  • Provide support for ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from the Finance team
  • Perform ad hoc tasks or assignments as needed

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Economics, or related field
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Positive mindset, proactive, keen to learn and a strong team player

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian languages
  • Familiarity with analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Interest in data visualization, automation, and improving processes
