Finance Analyst

• Ownership of all sales reporting, daily, weekly and monthly. You will prepare weekly and monthly reporting with supporting commentary, and this will cover the sales performance against current trends as well as business drivers and product sales insight
• Responsible for producing monthly/annual reporting and maintenance of dashboards: Sales, business drivers, staff costs, profit, and leagues
• Maintenance of the till system and scales, including product set-up and maintenance
• Stock reporting and supporting the stock management processes, such as inventory counts
• Supporting the retail leadership team with price reviews
• Supporting the shop budgeting and re-forecasting process, covering sales and staff costs
• Project support relating to sales initiatives or cost savings
• Ad-hoc support to the finance manager in all aspects
• Ad-hoc support to our European markets on any of the above tasks, excluding till maintenance
• Supporting the Retail Finance Business Partner in all aspects. This could be in the form of ad hoc pieces of work or support in more regular reporting that goes out to the wider team of Retail operational managers
• Champion FP&A best practices and support the delivery of operational efficiencies across all markets

• Strong German and English skills are essential
• A recognised finance qualification is desirable, but we will consider candidates with relevant experience who do not hold qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in an analytical role
• Strong Excel spreadsheet skills, including complex formulas. Ideally, also experience with Google Sheets
• Analytically minded
• Ability to work autonomously
• Culturally, someone who is enthusiastic about Lush and our ethics
• Experience of using commercial BI systems is preferred but not essential
