We are recruiting a Finance Analyst to partner with our IT Team. This role sits at the heart of our IT financial controls and provides essential insight into performance and investment.
Job Responsibility:
Complete the monthly close process, including posting journals, investigating issues, reconciling the P&L and balance sheet accounts, and capitalising completed projects
Prepare insightful summaries of period and YTD performance for management accounts and monthly updates to the Head of Products
Proactively engage with the IT team to support budgeting and forecasting processes for all opex and capex costs
Work closely with stakeholders to understand IT investment business cases and ensure the correct financial treatment of all associated costs
Conduct ad hoc analysis on IT BAU and Project expenditure, allowing the Finance team to appropriately challenge the business
Build strong relationships across the business to drive a wider understanding of how IT integrates and impacts overall business performance
Requirements:
Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
A-Level qualifications in science or mathematics-based subjects
Strong data analysis and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Must be hard-working, detail-oriented, a fast learner, enthusiastic, inquisitive, and proactive, with strong communication skills
Well-organised, flexible, and capable of providing drive and passion to the role while thriving in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
1-2 years of proven Finance Analyst experience
Degree-level qualification in science or mathematics-based subjects
Demonstrated ability to draw actionable conclusions and insight from complex data analysis
