Are you ready to take your finance skills to the next level? Our client, a dynamic AWARD WINNING organisation is seeking a Finance Administrator for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract based in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team, where your contributions will be valued and recognised.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete booking and approval sign offs, ensuring all financial information is accurate and compliant with internal procedures
  • Act as a key point of contact for finance related enquiries, responding to both internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner
  • Confidently handle finance related telephone calls, providing clear information and a high standard of customer service
  • Prepare, check, and issue monthly invoices for your allocated accounts, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up as required to support timely payments and effective cash flow
  • Review and process supplier invoices, maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy at all times
  • Support continuous improvement by contributing to team guidelines, processes, and ways of working
  • Provide flexible, ad‑hoc support to senior finance team members and leadership, including assisting with data requests and internal queries

Requirements:

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Clear, concise, and professional communication style
  • Proficiency in Excel to manage data effectively
  • Initiative to find answers to queries and draft clear email responses
  • Quick adaptability to new systems with training
  • Ability to manage a high volume of tasks accurately under time pressure
  • Confidence in handling calls, especially challenging ones, with sensitivity and professionalism
