Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join a successful family business in Guildford! You will be joining the busy team supporting them with their main finance functions but also carrying out various other administration tasks!

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing sales and purchase ledgers and assisting with credit control
  • Processing payroll and performing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Supporting quarterly VAT return preparation
  • Handle customer service inquiries
  • Manage bookings for drivers (hotels, MOTs, services)
  • Support office tasks such as typing quotations and delivery notes

Requirements:

  • A passion for finance and be on their way to completing AAT qualifications
  • At least 2 years' office experience and confidence with Microsoft Excel
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, VT) is a plus
  • Previous experience in a finance or administrative role within logistics is an advantage
