As a well established organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Finance Administrator to join their team on a temporary 8 weeks assignment and subject to permanency. The role is to be based in their Eastern Creek NSW 2766 office. Onsite parking is provided alongside 1/2 days work from home flexibility once permanent. This is an essential role providing financial and operational backbone to our busy depots and you will ensure that every transaction, from subcontractor payments to client billing, is accurate and timely.
Job Responsibility:
Perform billing/invoicing
Managing the raw materials receivables
Procurement to payment of suppliers and subcontractors, including cartage
Perform month end activities
Perform receipting
Perform Master Data maintenance/set-up
Coordinating travel and accommodation for our blue-collar workforce and managing manufacturing/inventory records
Maintaining master data, and supporting the depot with general administrative tasks
Other ad hoc duties as and when required
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelors in Accounting & Finance/equivalent qualification or relevant work experience
Previous experience in Construction, Transport, Cement, Courier or Truck industry is a MUST have
Prior experience in large ERP systems would be highly desirable or exposure to JD Edwards or Concur is highly advantageous
Intermediate Excel skill
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
At least 3 years in contract administration or finance support
