As the Finance & Administration Manager, you will play a crucial role managing and overseeing all financial, accounting, and payroll functions across the Scott Electrical Group. This includes financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, insurance, and supervision of the accounts and administration teams. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations for all group entities, supporting business performance and strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility

  • Financial Management and Reporting
  • Preparation of monthly P&L for Directors
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets & monthly cashflow forecasts
  • Liaise with external accountants (Grant Thornton) for end-of-year reporting
  • Provide quarterly management accounts to ANZ Bank and other stakeholders
  • Monitor profits, manage tax payments, and prepare financial summaries for Directors
  • Supervise and assist accounts payable and admin teams
  • Banking & Treasury requirements
  • Maintain accurate fixed asset register, propose new assets & process monthly depreciation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience with multi-entity accounting & financial management
  • Strong knowledge of NZ tax compliance (GST, FBT, PAYE)
  • Supportive and collaborative leader
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
