Job Description:

The Finance Acctg Sr. Analyst is a seasoned role requiring in-depth knowledge of accounting processes, financial controls, and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include managing financial data flows, preparing transactions, supervising junior employees, and resolving complex issues while ensuring compliance with firm policies.

Job Responsibility:

Supports the management and control of data flows to and within Finance applications
Prepares and records financial transactions for regulatory reporting purposes
Manages one or more processes, reports, or products as an expert
Supervises day-to-day work of junior level employees
Takes responsibility for accurate reporting of accounting reconciliations
Reviews and examines key controls for accounting processes
Resolves complex problems or transactions
Communicates progress and issues with stakeholders for resolution
Develops understanding of processes to achieve business goals
Ensures essential procedures are followed
Partners with audit team to monitor controls and accuracy of accounting

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) / Master in business administration (MBA)/ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent combination of education
5-8 years of experience in accounting management with commensurate stakeholder management experience
Strong communication and diplomacy skills
In-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas
Ability to resolve complex problems or transactions
Analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources

Nice to have:

Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
Familiarity with legal vehicle and regulatory reporting
