Job Description:

The Finance Acctg Analyst I is a trainee professional role requiring knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems in accounting. Responsibilities include managing and controlling data flows, preparing financial transactions, and ensuring adherence to guidelines for legal and regulatory reporting. The role involves routine tasks, collaboration with teams, and problem-solving using technical experience.

Job Responsibility:

Supports the management and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data
prepares and records financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes
updates the general ledger
records financial transactions and prepares consolidated financial statements
ensures adherence to management reporting requirements for legal vehicle & regulatory purposes
takes responsibility for the accurate reporting of accounting reconciliations on Citi reporting tools
prepares accounts for assigned process in line with global guidelines
adheres to key controls for accounting process
communicates with Legal Entity Managers on reconciliations/accounting
escalates problems or issues related to transactions, processes, or reports
applies good understanding of the team’s interaction with others in accomplishing objectives.

Requirements:

Basic level experience in accounting management (combination of education/experience)
